The UMass Digital Archive Project was established in 2017 by graduate students in the UMass MFA for Poets & Writers. The project aims to build awareness of MFA program’s history and culture so we may celebrate, critique, and engage with our past.
Recent projects include the digitization and analysis of the Joseph Langland collection of reel-to-reel recordings, digitization of other donated recordings, and recording and preservation of contemporary campus readings, including the Visiting Writers Series and the student reading series Live Lit.
